and a way to create altars to FOR MY dreams

A documentary short of the presentation and process of the 2014 work "WHILE WALKING".

This quilted videographic installation is an exploration of the daily life giving expressions of black joy that are constantly interrupted and drowned by the systematic structures of white death culture in the U.S.

It is also about the waters of grief that we must move through on a daily basis to survive and thrive through systems of racist death cultures.
